A Yummy Apple Tart and A New look!

LOOK!! at what I made last nite!! A fresh rustic apple tart! Can you say YUMMY!! It was!!! with vanilla  bean ice cream!!! I was in heaven!
Well, now, back to decorating, I just moved some things around after the holidays! And
tried to create a new look!  Food and decorating what could be better! And before I forget I want to wish my daughter Erin, "A Big Happy Birthday" We love You!!
I moved this cabinet over to the other side of the room, oops! forgot the flash, sorry!
This table was moved too! and a new vignette is born!
One of my other favorite cabinets is this half round cabinet, my husband bought it for me (a surprise)!
I added this DREAM sign to this over-sized amorie.  I'm loving black right now!
And,  my best treasure, this beautiful cabinet that I purchased from the one and only Christie Repasy. I bought this from her about 9 years AGO!!! i LOVE IT!!
I wanted to show more pics but, something happened. Is there a limited space to blog??? Does anyone have an answer!! Help help!! Anyway, until next time. When I figure this out! Happy Junking and have a great week!

A Book of Love for Valentines Day!

Last year we got together to make this adorable Valentines Book, I always forget how much I like to look at it and be inspired.  You might be inspired too! Take a look! This my cover, everybody made their own  cover.

Everyone made one page, both sides. Filled with images of the heart!~!

All the work was done by Evon, Erin, Linda Pearl and Jennifer and myself. At days end
everyones book was a one of a kind. We left room to make some pages of our own!
I hope you enjoyed this project! Have a wonderful week!
Sending My Heart to all!!

A New Years Wish! for 2011

My wishes for everyone out there, is that this year be filled with health, and joy, & blessings!  Give us the magic to Create wonderful things!!! Here's a tip that I use,  for all of you that decorate for Hearts Day! (valentine's Day). As you are putting away all your treasures from the  holidays, I set aside all my red and pink things that can be used for Valentines day decor!  Red trees, garlands, red glass ornaments (to fill cloches), red birds  and anything that looks like it fits in. I put together these table top displays !! Enjoy!!

I put together this display in the entryway table. Above the mirror is a garland I made last year! It has copies of vintage & homemade cards attached to a heart garland from Target.
Excuse my hands being the pic! oops!! but you get the idea. Then we had another class last year and made this adorable hearts box. called Love in a Box!!
I'm still decorating, and should be finished soon! So, stay tuned for more ideas! Happy New Year  in 2011!
Wishing you Love!
