Playing With Fall and Creating

Last week my daughter Erin, had a FALL Soiree at her home. She made us all kits to make a Fall banner. She included all the laces and trims to create!.
She served great food (pics later)! But, we all got started....first we all stenciled on burlap and added all the trims.
The attendees were: Me, Evon,Kim,Cherly,Terri and Andrea, here are pics of the project as we went along.
Everyone one was almost done and it was time to take a lunch break. Here's the food,
All the food was delish! pumpkin muffins, brushetta and crustinis, pasta salad and pinwheels, and a spinach strawberry salad. oops, I forgot to photo the desserts, we had Oreo cupcakes and turtle brownies, yummy, yum! Everyone still working on the project.... to the finish
A great day of fun and creating... here's all the finished banners
Here, is pic of the hostess with her Sister Evon.
Thanks, Erin for a fun day and great food! The banners turned out great. Your house looked amazzzing too. Love you! This week, I will be going up North with Evon & Linda to the Remanants of the Past Show. I'll do a post on that when I get back. Also, I will be posting the flyer for my Holiday Vintage Sale, save the date Nov. 17th 9-1. Hope you all are having a great week. I hope it cools down so, we can enjoy some fall weather. Summer is Gone and Fall is Here....

I know my post is late, but here are some pics of my booth at the Vintage Market Place. Let me just say that although it was really hot! all of our followers turned out to find some great treasures.
I love participating in this show all the vendors are soooo sweet and creative. Much thanks and hugs to Rita, Christie and Dean for all their hard work.
I love decorating these old suitcases and these are some of the last Roses from my garden. Sad to see them go.
Sorry, I forgot my camera that day, so, all my pics are from my phone. And I couldn't take photos of the other booths.
It was fun seeing friends and meeting new people. I won't be doing the Dec. show (sad face. But, I will be there shopping.
I'm gearing up for my little "Vintage Holiday Sale" at my home. Save the date Nov. 17th. I'll be emailing flyers out soon. A thank-you to my daughter Erin for helping out. And thanks to Jessica (Earth Cookie) for watching my booth while I went shopping a bit. Looking forward to all the Holidays, my favorite time of the year. Wishing you all Peace, love,Junk! Eloise

Spring is Coming!

Ok, now that the house is finished from the water leak and some set backs in the repairs. It's finally done! All the furniture is back in from the garage.
I'm getting ready for spring, I planted some Sweet Peas and some of my favorite plants. I got to do a little re-decorating too. Here, are some pics.....
Can you see the Burlap flowers that are in the blue watering can? I've been making those for my upcoming "Spring Boutique" (more to come, the date is May 12th) and the Vintage Market Place in Fallbrook (that date is June 1st & 2nd) see flyer.
I keep moving this giant birdcage all over, I don't know where I like it best so, for now it's on the entryway table.
Little Bunnies moved in.
Here are some pics of the LR, still in progress.....decorating...
That's the wall that was torn down from the water damage.
These are the shelves in that cabinet that's in the corner. I purchased that piece from Christie Repasy when she had her studio in Laguna Beach around 10yrs ago. I love it.
Next, this table that I've had forever with a C.Repasy Birdie print (it says Spring!).
This is the way my staircase turned out, it used to be oak (you know that yucky, orange color. They stripped and stained it to match the floor.
Sorry, for being a bad blogger friend, I'm back in the swing of things.
After, all that I need a vacation!
GUESS WHERE? these boots and hat are going???? This weekend I'm headed with my husband and daughter (Evon) to TEXAS!, Howdy!!!! yes, we are going to Round Top Antique week! I'm soooo, excited
we are meeting up with Tricia (Vintage Bliss) @ Zapp Hall there. She helped us with all the happenings and information. Thanks Tricia, you're a doll!!! See you soon.
So, hopefully, I'll be blogging about my adventure there. Wish me luck!
Happy Trails,
Eloise
